    Reason for nomination

    The team uses carefully designed BG placement and animation to express changes in gravity to make movement, which tends to be monotonous in the open world, a key component of the game.
    With bande dessinée as its concept, the game surprisingly incorporates a vertical structure in the map to meticulously create a massive background in every scene to complete the work full of originality.

    Reason for nomination

    One of the first to support the Direct X11 generation graphics, it has brought intricate reality and battlefield grandeur never seen before.
    The team has also actively disclosed the technical elements for realizing the accomplishments such as topographical expression and global illumination to provide a tremendous reference for high-end game developers.

    Reason for nomination

    Pencil sketch on paper seems rough at first sight, but the toggle switches are clearly distinguishable between on and off and the size of adlib buttons is carefully calculated. Most of all, the free expression of the developer helped us creators remember the inherent joy of making things.

    Artwork with realistic presence in the game "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" Development Team (Bethesda Game Studios)

    Reason for nomination

    From the scenes with extremely realistic view of the world via massive SKYRIM and the attention to such details as the numerous props, magic, and costume corresponding to each tribe, there is interaction between all the countless assets. The team thus successfully creates realistic presence and not merely pictures. Together with the pictures, the technology provides experience of a world available only in a game. The artwork leads to a realistic presence.
